Data aquisition on our website

Cookies (Cookie policy)

Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our webservice more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser. Cookies have different validity periods. Some are deleted after closing the browser and some are automatically deleted after a defined validity period. We use a session cookie that allows us to recognize your browser on the next visit of our site. This is used, for example, to store the favorites-list and to continue to use that list when you return to our site later. Furthermore, we use an opt-in cookie that stores your consent or refusal to analyze your browsing behavior. You will find extra information on analytics on this page.

You may be able to configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you disable cookies (in general or for our site) our site will offer only limited functionality.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your browsing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

User account

If you register as a user data such as email address, name, company and address may be required. We use this data to provide our service to you only and will not pass it on to third parties, if not required by the service we provide.

The processing of the data entered in the registration form and the profile settings is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and their use at any time, for example by cancelling your account. The data can not be deleted immediately in some cases, e.g. if you have a active service agreement. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide for the purpose of fulfilling our service will be stored by us until you cancel your contract or account and is not needed any longer for internal purposes.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the data you entered into the contact form will be stored by us for processing the inquiry and for the case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent except it is necessary for the processing of your inquiry or a contract with you.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time. Please just send us an e-mail. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies.

If you visit our website your browsing habits can be statistically analyzed. The analysis of your browsing behavior is usually anonymous; the browsing behavior cannot be traced back to you. The analysis is activated if you consent to the analysis. This consent is stored in a cookie that is saved in your browser. You can object to this analysis. For details on how to object, see the Cookies section.

Our website uses the open source analytics software Open Web Analytics. Open Web Analytics (hereinafter referred to as OWA) uses cookies to perform the analysis of your visit. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on the server of our technology partner.

Cookies generated by OWA may remain on your device until you delete them. OWA is operated as a service by our technology partner GAIST GmbH.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize its web service and its advertising. The information generated by your visit about the use of this website will not be passed on to third parties.

You can prevent the analysis by a corresponding setting of your browser software, which rejects all cookies from our site. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use all the functions of this website. If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data, you can deactivate the storage and use by not agreeing to the analysis of your surfing behavior when asked. If you agree to the storage and use, an opt-in cookie will be stored in your browser, otherwise an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser. If neither cookie is present, opt-out is assumed. If you delete your cookies, this has the consequence that the opt-out or opt-in cookie is also deleted.
